Long-Term Value
At BOMAQ we are currently developing a research project focused on the design and development of an electric rough terrain forklift.
The main objective of this project is to develop a 100% electric 4x4 rough terrain forklift featuring four-wheel drive, an electro-hydraulic transmission, a 2.5-ton lifting capacity, a maximum cab height of 2 metres, the smallest turning radius in the world, an integrated charger, and a Type 2 charging socket, similar to those used in passenger vehicles.

The project is currently under development and is expected to be completed in 2026. Its execution represents an investment of approximately €336,000. The project has been developed with the support of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology and Innovation (CDTI), under the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and is co-financed by the European Union (ERDF Funds) through the Multi-Regional Operational Programme for Spain 2021–2027.
